MJV pens first piece for GQ about 2009 WSOP champion 2 July 2010 HEALDSBURG, Calif. - Matt Villano debuted in GQ magazine today with story about 2009 World Series of Poker "Main Event" champion, Joe Cada. The story, titled, "World Series of Poker Preview: The Return of Mighty Joe Cada," ran as a Q&A on the magazine's Web site. In the piece, Villano grilled Cada about how he's spent his time as champion, and how he plans to defend his title at the 2010 Main Event. This year's iteration of "Poker's Biggest Stage" kicks off in Las Vegas Monday, July 5. Cada opened up about everything from life in the spotlight to signing autographs in funky places.
